Welcome to Mrs. Yablonski's First Grade Class!

Welcome to First Grade at Vincent Farm Elementary!  I am so glad that your child is in my class, and I look forward to working with you and your child this year.  At Vincent Farm, we follow the principles of strategy instruction in language arts, coupled with resources from Houghton-Mifflin.  For phonics, we work with the Open Court curriculum to introduce sound/spelling relationships.  In math, we follow the Baltimore County curriculum, which includes Investigations and Scott Foresman.
